How to Use this Toolkit
You deserve to get the information you want about sexuality! See below to learn more about who should use this toolkit and how to use it. There are special tips at the end of this page for youth, parents and caregivers, and disability support professionals.
What is sexuality anyway?
Sexuality includes many things, like our bodies, relationships, identities, pleasure, health, and more. Each part of our sexuality is important and connected to the other parts. Our sexuality is also impacted by other things, like our values, culture, what we see in the media, and more.
Who is this website for?
This toolkit was created especially for teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Why? Because they are too often left out of sexuality education conversations and we think that’s wrong. But we encourage anyone interested in learning more about bodies and sexuality to use this toolkit!
