Ovaries are the two body parts that store and release eggs into the fallopian tubes.

- During ovulation, a person with ovaries might be able to feel the sensation of the egg bursting out of the ovary. Sometimes the pain is very mild, but sometimes people may need to use a heating pad, or will choose to take a warm bath or shower to feel more comfortable.
- If a person is feeling lots of pain in their abdomen, they should see a health care provider. Sometimes there can be problems with the ovaries that can cause abdominal pain.
