What Is It?
When someone is pregnant and then has a baby, their breasts will produce milk to feed the baby. When a baby is fed milk from the breasts, this is called breastfeeding.
An Example
When Joie’s 6-month-old baby is hungry, Joie breastfeeds the baby with milk from her breast. The baby sucks the milk from Joie’s nipple.
