The steps to using an internal condom
How to Use an Internal Condom:
- Open the package carefully to avoid tearing the condom and squeeze the sides of the thick inner ring
- Insert the condom into the vagina or the anus. Keep the thin, outer ring outside the body.
- Gently push the condom up into the body.
- Act by carefully inserting the penis, finger, or sex toy into the internal condom (only if there is consent).
- After sex, twist the outer ring, pull out the condom, and throw away the condom. Do not reuse.
- Some people put some water-based lubricant along the outside of the condom before inserting it into the vagina or the anus.
- Some people prefer internal condoms because they can be inserted a few hours before sexual intercourse. A person can control their sexual experience even if their partner does not wear an external condom.
